Picture from Katy

Grandma and Grandpa got a picture from their friend Katy.  Katy said she had to go out of town for a week and worried about leaving the girls with her husband Mason.  She said that her worries subsided when she saw how well they ate.

Grandma and Grandpa can understand this.  We worry too.

Giant mushroom in Yard

Last summer was very wet here.  We had some of the best mushrooms ever.  

Here are two pictures of one Grandma found in the yard.  It is called a Cauliflower Mushroom (S. crispa).    Wikipedia said "Experiments suggests these mushrooms contain  chemicals which may stimulate the immune system and have anti-tumor properties."

That is pretty cool.
